Cell Phone Consent Required
You must have prior express written consent to call or text a cell phone for marketing. Never autodial or use a prerecorded voice without consent.
DNC Registry Check
Check the National Do-Not-Call Registry before calling any residential number. Business-to-business calls have different rules but are not exempt from all restrictions.
Calling Hours
Do not call before 8 AM or after 9 PM in the prospect's local time zone (TCPA Β§ 227).
Identify Yourself

License Disclosure
You must disclose your Georgia insurance license number in all marketing communications. Do not imply you are licensed in states where you are not.
No Misleading Statements
Georgia O.C.G.A. Β§ 33-6-4 prohibits false, misleading, or deceptive statements in connection with the sale of insurance. Do not misrepresent policy terms or benefits.
Privacy Disclosures (GLBA)
The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act requires a privacy notice explaining how you collect and use personal information when you establish a customer relationship.
Replacement Regulations
When replacing existing coverage, Georgia requires specific replacement notices and a comparison document to be provided to the prospect.
Anti-Rebating Law
